Ms. McMillan is the Manager for the International Space Station Program’s Mission Integration and Operations Office, NASA. Ms. McMillan has worked at Johnson Space Center since 1996, first as a flight controller supporting the Shuttle/Mir and International Space Station Programs, and subsequently in increasingly responsible roles for human space flight operations. She was selected as a Flight Director in 2007 and in that role led more than 500 shifts of flight operations for the International Space Station over twelve years. She led the teams that transitioned ISS to a permanent crew of six people, conducted the first set of contingency spacewalks for ISS, overhauled ISS emergency response operations, and executed the Cygnus commercial vehicle’s demonstration mission. Most recently she spent two years managing FOD’s support to first the ISS Program and subsequently the Commercial Crew Program.
